Test & Inspection

Every building with a fire alarm system needs regular testing to stay compliant and keep people safe. We test smoke detectors, sounder bases, batteries, panel reporting, and off-site signal transmission — documenting everything and certifying your system is in working order. We serve buildings in San Jose, San Francisco, South San Francisco, and surrounding areas.

UL Listing

Buildings in San Jose, San Francisco, and South SF are required to have UL-listed fire alarm systems. We provide full UL listing services, bringing your system under one umbrella so you stay compliant without the runaround.

Monitoring — AES Radio Network

We monitor fire alarm signals through AES Radio, a private network that spans all of Northern California — Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, Gilroy, and down to Monterey via our antenna on the Santa Cruz Mountains. Unlike cellular or copper phone lines, AES Radio is a dedicated private network accepted by Cal Fire and recognized in NFPA 72. When your system triggers, we reach the fire department fast and reliably.

Service & Repair

Panel acting up? Devices failing? Another company gave up? We diagnose and repair fire alarm panels, replace faulty devices, and solve the problems other technicians walk away from. Our service rates start at $175/hour for non-contract clients. Contract clients receive priority response and discounted rates.

Gas Releasing Systems (NOVEC 1230)

IT rooms, server facilities, and data centers require specialized suppression systems that protect equipment without water damage. We service NOVEC 1230 releasing systems of all sizes — from $20,000 installations to million-dollar enterprise systems. If your gas system needs testing, recertification, or repair, we know these systems inside and out.

Service Contracts

The most cost-effective way to keep your building protected is a KGB DSS service contract. We handle your annual test & inspection, monitoring, and repairs under one agreement — so you’re never scrambling when something goes wrong. Contract pricing varies by building size and scope, typically ranging from $2,000 to $50,000 annually.
